About the style of Studio Mick

A mix of delicate and expressive, abstract, often botanical stylized elements, with the addition of hand-marked loose geometrics and an undeniable preference for dots and stripes.

All together in a limited color palette inspired by folk art mainly in blue and red hues and infused by Caroline’s strong interest in Japonism.

Lofty Strokes

As the leaves in the gardens changed their hue, her paths started to align. Inspiration was falling from the trees and found its way into her heart and soul.

This collection is inspired by the fall foliage in Japan and how the changing colors inspired Caroline to create these designs. The strokes are painted with original Japanese Sumie ink and brushes.
